How it works

Your calendar in, confirmed appointments out

Set it up once in about 20 minutes. After that, your team only opens ConfirmCue to answer a customer or change a setting.
  1. In Google Calendar, like today: the customer’s name and mobile number in the event.

  2. When the appointment is added: a booking text from your business’s own number.

  3. The day before, at 10:00 AM: a reminder. Jane replies YES and gets a thank-you.

  4. ✅ appears in front of the event. Nobody had to call.

  5. Mark replies NO and is asked to call you. Nothing is moved or canceled.

  6. Your team gets an alert with Mark’s number, and 📞 appears in front of his event.

The details

Built around how your team already works

Nothing new to learn: your team keeps its calendar, and ConfirmCue does the texting.

Your calendar, as it is

  • Connect Google Calendar and choose the calendars with appointments.
  • An event without a mobile number waits under “Needs info”. Add the number once, and we remember the customer next time.
  • You can also add appointments in the app, or bring them from a spreadsheet.

Your messages, your words

  • You start with messages that work: a booking text, a reminder the day before, at 10:00 AM and another one 2 hours before.
  • Choose your message hours for each day and your days off. Change any word, and see each message filled in before it goes out.
  • Customers without a mobile number get the same messages by email.

Changes take care of themselves

  • Move the event: the old reminders are dropped and the customer gets the new time.
  • Delete it: no more reminders go out, and the customer can get a short “canceled” text if you want.

Every answer reaches you

  • Every text from a customer lands in one inbox. Answer in the app, or reply to the alert on your own phone.
  • At 3:00 PM you get the list of tomorrow’s customers who have not confirmed, with their numbers.
  • Customers can also confirm on their own appointment page, from the link in each text.

In your calendar

What the marks mean

Each customer’s answer shows at the start of the event’s title, so your team sees it in Google Calendar on any phone. Prefer words, or no marks? Choose in Settings → Calendar.

[Confirmed]
The customer confirmed.
[New time?]
They asked for a new time.
[Call them]
They texted that this time may not work (like “NO”), so call them. It goes away when they confirm again, the time changes, or you mark the call done.
[No texts]
The customer stopped our texts (they replied STOP), so they get no more text reminders. Call them: some people write “Stop” to cancel or to stop the work.
[Not reached]
Our last message did not reach them, or nobody can get their messages. Call them.

Texts customers agreed to

How customers opt in

We only text customers about their own appointments, and only after they agreed.

The business asks each customer, when the appointment is booked, whether it may text them about it. ConfirmCue records that answer for each customer, with when and how it was given. Customers without that agreement get emails only.

The first text says who it is from and how to stop: reply STOP to stop texts, HELP for help. A customer usually gets 2 to 4 texts per appointment. Message and data rates may apply. The full rules for customers are in the SMS Terms.

Texts come from the business’s own number. ConfirmCue never sends marketing or promotions, and never shares or sells customers’ numbers.

For businesses: how to ask customers, and what to record, in How customers opt in to texts.

Always on

Rules that protect your customers

Everything else is a setting. These are not, because they protect the people you serve.

  • No messages at night: never before 8:00 AM or after 9:00 PM, and only in your message hours.
  • The same message never goes out twice.
  • Nothing is sent after the appointment has started.
  • STOP always works, and a customer who stops can start again with START.
  • A text that may mean “stop” (for example “stop the work”) waits for your team instead of being guessed.
  • Test mode sends every message to your own phone first; one switch pauses everything.

See it with your own calendar

A short video call. We connect a test calendar together and you see the first messages on your own phone.
